Chocolate chip cookies are always a favorite. The original chocolate chip cookie recipe was invented by the American chef Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1938. She created the recipe when she owned the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. A variation on the original recipe, semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips together are delicious. Tip- chilling cookie dough for several hours before baking helps cookie to keep it’s shape while baking.
